Content description
Essay by the geographer and journalist Gonzalo de Reparaz on the causes of the First World War and the crisis of Europe, with a critical reading of Spanish policy and the Moroccan question. Written in a polemical, personal tone, it opens with an allegorical introduction and is organised into parts and chapters on the origin of war, the partition of the world and the role of the great powers. The text closes in Fribourg in August 1921.
